William Dotani, Oct 7, 2011, 2:07AM EDTI'm not sure if I am or am not in your group. I did drop out of all of my poetry groups after looking at the membership of each group finding almost 99% of the people in each group never commented on my poems. I realize I'm far from conventional because I was compared to a UFO when my nose was spotted in the sky. I guess some did not want me in their group and dropped me. Is it because I don't wear deoderant?
BTW: I think partisan people are outhouse scum. -

John Doyle, Aug 3, 2011, 6:43PM EDTMy dear Shira,
I am going drop out of Spirituality Essentials. There is a difference at least for me between Spirituality and Evangelism which seems to be more and more present . Add to that the right wing political crap that is more than a bit present and it adds up to someplace I don't want my work associated with. This saddens me as I enjoyed the group and you comments. As you my know I am a practicing Roman Catholic so this decision is not because I am against Christianity or bible quoting but there is a time ans place for everything.
With love,
John Doyle -

Gilbert S., Mar 9, 2011, 11:26PM ESTDear Shira, I just discover your post on "Losing Your Religion: Modern Deadly Sins".
As comments are not accepted anymore, I suggest you to think about this point: Having a home is not a right, is not even expected to be, but is a basic need as it implies some protection, a place where human beings can relax.
If one impedes human beings to enjoy some time in a home, in an area where one feels secured (even a prison cell) they would become aggressive and even turn sick, crazy and kill themselves.
A right is something a third party is expected to provide; a need is something one is searching for as food, home and love, called as well "primary" needs. Without them there is no ability to comply with the secondary needs (communication and cooperation within a restricted community) and, even less with the thirdly needs which implies cooperation and providing time to the enlarged community.
